Enhancing Your Client Service
through a Professional Partnership
Why develop a Professional Partnership?
As the pace of legislative change increases and the economic environment becomes ever more volatile, clients’ financial affairs are becoming more complex. As a result we are seeing a desire for the advice they receive from their professional advisers to be complimentary and mutually supportive.
Having an understanding of your clients wider position also enhances your relationship leading to both a higher level of client retention and presenting new business opportunities.
Some accountants and solicitors have recognised this and are now developing an in-house financial planning service, others have chosen to set up joint ventures or simply to select a preferred partner firm to refer clients to. Many smaller firms have neither the desire nor resources to set up their own financial planning service and so have chosen to work in Partnership with existing firms that can demonstrate the necessary service standards and technical expertise to further cement their client relationships rather than damage them.
